A name that is a family
ARKS is short for Ahmed Ragheb Khalaf & Sons. The name on the sign is the name of the man who started it, and the “& Sons” is a promise that it stays in the family.
The family still runs it the way he did: face to face, on trust, with time for every customer, from a family building its first home to a contractor fitting out a whole building.
The showroom on Palestine Street
On Palestine Street (al-Askari), the showroom lays out what a house is made of: walls of tile from floor to ceiling, porcelain slabs as tall as a door, Andalusian patterns, baladi terrazzo, and tiles that look like wood and like rugs.
In the sanitaryware hall are basins, mixers, showers and baths you can touch before you choose. Families come together, often more than once, to plan a kitchen, a bathroom or a whole new floor.

The warehouses
A kilometre to the north, off Al-Sultan Abd Al-Hameed Street, are the ARKS warehouses: long halls stacked with pallets of tile, and a yard where containers from abroad are unloaded.
The stock is kept close to the showroom, so what you choose in the morning is minutes away.

From around the world, for homes in Jenin
The tiles come from Spain, Italy, India, China and Turkey; the sanitaryware and fittings from names like GROHE, Villeroy & Boch and BLANCO, with MAPEI adhesives and grouts to lay it all.
Today the range runs to more than 3,500 products, from 10×10 mosaic to 120×280 cm porcelain slabs.
And now on your phone
Customers used to browse the range in a shared folder of photos. This catalogue puts all of it on your phone, in Arabic, English and Hebrew: search by code or size, save what you like, share a list with your family and send it to us on WhatsApp.
Then come and see it for yourself. We would be glad to welcome you.
